Trading & Consulting International, Inc. is a Global Management Consulting and Business Development Company, based in Chicago, and founded in 1992 by its Chairman Emeritus, Albert Beckford Jones, with this vision:

Our Chairman, having worked in the United States and in international environments for 30 years with people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and languages, has contributed to the meaning of success for Trading & Consulting International, Inc. Albert Jones has worked for American businesses that enabled US companies and institutions to bridge the gaps between global ambitions and the realities of profitable international business. He has assisted in the development and implementation of international and global strategies and business development throughout the US, Europe, the Middle East, and South America. In each of these endeavors, Mr. Jones has held highly influential senior executive-level positions. Some of the most challenging and complex of these opportunities have also been the most rewarding, and help drive our Mission.

Welcome to Gointernationally.com – the website for Trading and Consulting International, Inc. For over 25 years I have advised U.S. companies on their efforts to do business internationally. Further, I have advised international companies on doing business in the U.S. My clients have entered markets throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, often with great success. Conversely, I have also watched a lamentable number of companies “GoInternationally” for the wrong reasons, without much forethought or preparation; the results were not good. One of the key reasons for a company’s poor results in the international business arena is a lack of a sound strategy, and a misunderstanding of the specific task required for success overseas. To “GoInternationally,” is not a matter of choice anymore; it is necessary for business survival in light of the following:

• World population growth (over 7 billion) and shift (growth is occurring in the southern hemisphere).

• Many products and services have reached their maturity in the U.S. economy.
